Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a reading competition designed to improve reading and comprehension while building enthusiasm for reading using a fun and unique competition format. Students will compete in teams of 4-5 to demonstrate their knowledge of 10 pre-selected books.

Rising 4th and 5th grade students are eligible to compete.
We recommend reading a minimum of 2 books during summer break.  These students will be invited to begin forming teams in the fall.
The school battle will take place after Winter Break. The winning team for the school will face off against other schools’ winning teams in the Spring.
